Job summary

GardaWorld in Regina, Saskatchewan, is seeking a Logistics Facility Security Guard to protect assets and support operations in a high-profile industrial environment. You will engage with visitors, monitor access, and perform patrols with a strong focus on safety and customer service.

The role requires the ability to work nights (Saturday/Sunday 2300-0700) and to communicate clearly, with first aid being an asset. GardaWorld offers training and career growth.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in Canada
• First aid certification is an asset
• Proficient in basic phone & computer skills
• Full Saskatchewan driving license (min past 12 months)
• Clear driving abstract (past 12 months)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Previous experience as a security guard in a high-profile site (asset)
• Leadership and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in a stressful environment

Responsibilities

• Welcome and assist visitors, verify identification and provide clear guidance with excellent customer service
• Control access at entry and exit points using electronic systems or checks
• Conduct interior and exterior patrols of stairwells, hallways and common areas
• Monitor CCTV and security systems, document issues and escalate as needed
• Inspect and report maintenance needs related to security equipment and facility infrastructure
• Respond to incidents, provide first aid if required, coordinate with emergency responders
• Secure doors, enforce regulations and city by-laws
• Protect client assets from theft, vandalism, and unauthorized access
• Document all activities and prepare incident and daily reports
• Foster positive staff relationships and act as first point of contact in emergencies

Responsibilities for Logistics Facility Security Guard

• Welcome and assist visitors, verify identification,issue and provide clear guidance while maintaining excellent customer service both in person and over the phone.
• Control access at entry and exit pointsusing electronic systems or physical checks to ensure only authorized individuals enter the premises.
• Conduct regular interior and exterior patrolsof stairwells, hallways, and common areas to establish presence, identify risks, and maintain order.
• Monitor and document all security systems and CCTVfor suspicious activity or operational issues, escalating concerns when needed.
• Inspect and report maintenance needsrelatedto security equipment and facility infrastructure.
• Respond promptly to incidents or complaints, provide first aid when required, and coordinate effectively with emergency responders.
• Secure identified doors, ensure proper locking procedures, and enforce property regulations and city by-laws at all times.
• Protect client assetsagainst theft, vandalism, trespassing, and other safety concerns by remaining alert and proactive.
• Document all activities, including incident reports, maintenance logs, and daily reports, ensuring accuracy and timely communication of concerns.
• Foster positive staff relationshipsand act as the first point of contact during emergencies to ensure a coordinated and professional response
