Job summary

Arthrex is seeking a Logistics Coordinator for the London, Ontario area. The role focuses on efficient product receipt and delivery across Canada, including shipping, packing, and inventory control.

The successful candidate will work with RFID, SAP, and warehouse teams to ensure accurate and timely fulfillment, while maintaining safety and organization in the shipping area.

Responsibilities

  • Pack materials, attach labels, and verify accuracy of shipments.
  • Direct delivery trucks and assist drivers with loading/unloading.
  • Maintain FEFO/FIFO storage and organize the warehouse.

Arthrex Inc. is hiring a Logistics Coordinator to perform a variety of tasks associated with the company’s requirements for efficient and effective product receipt and delivery to its customers across Canada. This individual will need to reside near London, Ontario, Canada.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
  • Responsible for such duties as: shipping, picking, packing, and loading and unloading all products shipped to and from the ALCC warehouse.
  • Generate picking groups, assemble boxes and create racks for picking.
  • Ship orders through SAP. Delegate GLS and LTL orders to the Logistics team where applicable.
  • Pack fill material with goods to be shipped, insert packing slips and affix waybills and other applicable courier labels to each shipment.
  • Double check orders for discrepancies when shipping.
  • Assist with processing completed shipments to couriers for loading.
  • Direct delivery trucks, help drivers load and unload goods.
  • Determine storage areas for incoming shipments and allocate appropriate space within the warehouse.
  • Unpack received goods into appropriate staging areas. Receive using RFID scanner.
  • Inspect and count items that are received ensuring accuracy.
  • Stock warehouse shelves using RFID scanners and ensure all products are arranged properly and sorted by FEFO/FIFO where applicable.
  • Assist with investigating customer orders (discrepancies) as required.
  • Perform inventory counts and maintain accurate inventory.
  • Inform managers of excess/short product.
  • Inform warehouse leaders of supplies to order when stock is depleted.
  • Operate pallet jack and task support vehicles (i.e. J1 Joey) with license certificate.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the shipping and receiving area according to the 5S model.
  • Ability to adhere to all health and safety procedures and policies as set out by the company.

Education And Experience
  • High School diploma or equivalent years of relevant experience.
  • Previous experience and proficiency with computer shipping/receiving systems, scanner guns and/or an electronic inventory system.
Knowledge And Skill Requirements/Specialized Courses And/or Training
  • Team player, able to work well in a group environment and focus on tasks required.
  • Able to communicate clearly and effectively with external and internal customers.
  • Physical ability to stand for long periods, bend, twist, climb as well as lift heavy loads.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Able to work under time constraints, governed by concurrent and dynamic customer deadlines, despite conflicting priorities and frequent interruptions.
Language And Communication Skills

Ability to comprehend and apply language skills to the degree required to perform the job based upon the job requirements listed above. Ability to verbally communicate ideas and issues effectively to other team members and management. Ability to write and record data and information as required by procedures.
