Job summary

Mark Edwards Apparel is seeking a Junior Logistics Coordinator to join our Operations team in Montreal. You will support day-to-day activities related to shipments, orders, receiving, invoicing, and warehouse coordination.

This role suits organized individuals who want to gain hands-on experience in logistics within a fast-paced apparel environment, reporting to the Logistics Manager and collaborating with Sales, Production, and Finance.

Qualifications

• DEC in logistics, supply chain, administration or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 1–2 years of experience in logistics, operations, customer service, or related administrative role.
• New graduates with relevant experience are encouraged to apply.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative.
• Good problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Outlook and Word.
• French and English written and spoken for clients, suppliers and partners in and outside Quebec.
• Willingness to learn and grow within logistics and operations.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and enter shipment notifications.
• Enter receiving information into internal systems.
• Prepare and process customer invoices.
• Communicate with suppliers and warehouses regarding shipments and orders.
• Book shipments with warehouses.
• Follow up on orders to meet delivery timelines.
• Collaborate with Sales, Production and Finance.
• Prepare and maintain weekly reports on order and shipment status.
• Support the Logistics Manager with day-to-day administrative and operational tasks.
• Identify and elevate potential shipment issues or delays promptly.
