We are looking for a Logistics Coordinator to join our Supply Chain team in Oxford. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in ensuring the seamless flow of materials and products across our operations and to our customers. You'll work at the centre of our logistics network, collaborating with internal teams, external partners and suppliers to ensure deliveries are accurate, efficient and on time.

This role offers the opportunity to contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, develop your project management skills, and help shape a more resilient and digitally enabled supply chain operation.

About the Role

As a Logistics Coordinator, you will be one of the key points of contact for outbound logistics activities, ensuring shipping schedules, documentation and deliveries align with customer requirements, production plans and business priorities.

You will coordinate shipments across road, sea and air transportation channels, working with internal stakeholders and logistics providers to optimise delivery performance and support business continuity. Alongside day-to-day operations, you'll contribute to improvement projects focused on efficiency, resilience and digitalisation across the supply chain.

Following an initial onboarding period, flexible remote working is available, with a preference for on‑site collaboration. This role supports operations across both our Bicester and Eynsham sites.

What You'll Be Doing

• Taking ownership of shipping schedules and ensuring alignment with production, customer and business requirements.


• Preparing, reviewing and maintaining accurate shipping documentation and compliance records.


• Coordinating shipments to ensure the right materials arrive at the right place and at the right time.


• Responding proactively to logistical challenges, identifying solutions and minimising potential disruption.


• Working closely with freight forwarders and logistics partners to optimise delivery performance.


• Reviewing and approving invoices related to shipping and logistics activities.


• Supporting new product introductions and end‑of‑life planning activities from a logistics perspective.


• Managing delivery parameters to balance customer expectations, manufacturing capacity and supply constraints.


• Monitoring, maintaining and analysing delivery performance through KPI reporting and digital dashboards.


• Supporting digitalisation initiatives and identifying opportunities to improve logistics processes.


• Leading or contributing to continuous improvement projects using Lean methodologies and structured problem-solving approaches.


• Championing a Zero Harm culture and ensuring Environmental, Health and Safety standards remain a priority.


• Building strong relationships with stakeholders across production, supply chain, procurement and customer‑facing functions.

What Skills and Experience You'll Bring

We're looking for someone who combines strong logistics expertise with a collaborative approach and a passion for continuous improvement.

You’ll ideally bring:

• Proven experience in outbound logistics, shipping and delivery operations within a complex manufacturing or production environment.


• Experience managing shipments across road, sea and air freight channels.


• Knowledge of export, shipping and transportation documentation requirements.


• Experience working with ERP systems, ideally SAP.


• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.


• A structured and analytical approach to problem solving and decision making.


• Excellent communication skills and the confidence to engage with stakeholders at all levels.


• Experience working with performance metrics, reporting tools and data‑driven decision making.


• Knowledge of Lean manufacturing or continuous improvement methodologies.


• Good Microsoft 365 skills, with Power Platform experience considered advantageous.


• The ability to influence, collaborate and build effective relationships across functions.


• Experience handling dangerous goods shipments would be advantageous.


• Degree‑level education, relevant business or engineering qualifications, or equivalent industry experience.
