Education: Bachelor's degree. Tasks: Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments. Consult with production supervisor to schedule production runs in a cost and time-efficient manner. Estimate type and quantity of materials and labour required for production, construction and other projects. Monitor production progress. Prepare and maintain progress and other reports. Requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies. Keep track of shipments. Utilize quantity take-off procedures. Review work order to determine job specifications. Prepare project schedules. Prepare and submit construction project budget estimates. Monitor progress of delivery schedules. Maintain inventory of supplies. Maintain financial and production records. Obtain price quotations from catalogues and suppliers. Prepare contract documents and review and evaluate tenders for construction projects. Plan, organize and oversee operational logistics of the organization. Communicate with other workers to co-ordinate the preparation and completion of work assignments. Computer and technology knowledge: MS Office. Estimating packages. Personal suitability: Organized. Reliability. Accurate. Proactive.
