Job summary

Setara Logistics Inc. in Vaughan, Ontario, is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to manage freight files end to end across ocean, air, rail and intermodal, and full truckload. The role involves coordinating with a licensed customs broker partner and working with our sister company Setara Transport.

The position is hybrid, with hours Monday to Friday. Pay and office split are discussed on the first call. Qualified candidates should have 2+ years in freight coordination and be comfortable with

Qualifications

• Two or more years coordinating freight files at a forwarder, carrier or third party logistics provider.
• Depth in at least one of ocean, air or surface freight.
• Comfortable in a freight system and a spreadsheet.
• Entitled to work in Canada. French is an asset for the Quebec files.

Responsibilities

• Book and manage freight files across all modes.
• Coordinate customs entries with the broker partner.
• Quote and book carrier capacity.
• Keep shippers updated and manage the shared mailbox.
• Audit carrier invoices and raise customer invoices with correct tax treatment.
• Help build the forwarding system.

Setara Logistics is hiring a logistics coordinator in Vaughan, Ontario. The role runs freight files end to end, from booking through to invoicing, across ocean, air, rail and intermodal, and full truckload. Customs entries are coordinated with a licensed customs broker partner. Capacity is booked with carriers, including our sister company Setara Transport.
