As an experienced Logistics Associate here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in the efficient and accurate handling of incoming and outgoing shipments for our IA/PMC business unit in Calgary. You will be accountable for ensuring the timely receipt, storage, and distribution of materials and products, while maintaining a high level of accuracy and compliance with shipping and receiving procedures. With your strong attention to detail and organizational skills, you will contribute to the smooth operation of our supply chain and help us deliver exceptional customer service.

You will report directly to our Senior Service and Repair Supervisor, and you will work out of our location in Calgary.

With your expertise in logistics management, you will develop strategies to optimize cost, efficiency, and customer satisfaction. Your ability to work with cross-functional teams and ensure compliance with regulations will contribute to the success of our logistics operations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Receive incoming shipments and verify the accuracy of materials against purchase orders or shipping documents.
  • Inspect and record the condition of received goods, ensuring any damages or discrepancies are reported and resolved.
  • Prepare, package and ship outgoing shipments, ensuring proper labeling and documentation.
  • Work with suppliers, vendors, and third-party logistics providers to establish strong partnerships and streamline operations.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and safety standards.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organization.

MUST HAVE

  • 1-2+ years of experience in logistics management, preferably in a fast-paced turnkey service and repair operation, manufacturing, or distribution environment.
  • High School or Technical Diploma.

  • Experience with SAP/ERP/CRM, MS Outlook/Excel

  • Proficient in using logistics management software and tools.

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
