SCL Search Consultants Ltd. is seeking a Logistics Analyst for a leading food distributor in Mississauga.

The role centers on warehousing and transportation data analysis, with opportunities to implement new WMS and ERP systems and to build dashboards that drive operational improvements. You will analyze data related to warehouse operations, support transportation projects, and use Excel, Power BI or Tableau to identify root causes and actionable solutions, leveraging 3+ years of logistics

Qualifications

• 2-5 years experience with data and analytics.
• Warehouse, Logistics or Supply Chain background.
• Degree in Mathematics, Engineering or related field.
• Strong communication skills are a must.
• Proficient with Excel and Power BI or Tableau.

Job description

A leading food distributor has an immediate opening for a Logistics Analyst, focusing primarily on warehousing and transportation operations (not inventory). This is a stable and growing organization, with long-term opportunities for career growth and development. This role offers the chance to analyze data and identify areas for improvement in both distribution and transportation, as well as involvement in implementation of new WMS and ERP systems.

In this key role, you will be building dashboards and performing in-depth analysis to identify opportunities to improve logistics operations. The main focus of the role will be collecting and analyzing data related to warehouse operations, but you will also be working on transportation projects, so experience in both distribution and transportation is strongly preferred. If you love data analytics and have a background in logistics this could be a great opportunity for you!

If you have 3+ years of experience in transportation / logistics or distribution environments, love analyzing data and have exceptional Excel skills,

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 2-5 years experience working with data and analytics
• Warehouse, Logistics or Supply Chain experience
• Degree in a related field (Mathematics, Engineering)
• Strong communication skills are a must for this role.
• Proven experience with Excel and Power BI or Tableau required.
• Strong data analysis skills, root cause analysis.

COMPENSATION: $75,000 - $85,000 plus a very strong benefits package.
