Job summary

Southern Irrigation in Chilliwack, BC, is seeking a motivated logistics professional to join our team at 43645 Industrial Way. This hands-on role focuses on accurate shipping, packaging, order pulling, and delivering excellent customer service.

You will stock shelves, track shipments, process customer orders and payments, and assist with inter-company transfers, while cross-training on additional shipper duties such as rates and customs paperwork.

Southern Irrigation is actively seeking a motivated and reliable individual to join our team in a logistics-focused role, for our Chilliwack location. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, helping customers, and wants to build a long-term career in the irrigation and water systems industry.

Job Title: Logistics

Location: 43645 Industrial Way, Chilliwack, BC, V2R 4L2

Rate of pay: $25-$35/hr depending on skills and experience

Job purpose: This position’s primary responsibilities are ensuring customer orders are gathered, packaged and sent/delivered accurately, efficiently and safely while maintaining a high level of customer service.

Key Result Area

• High accuracy and efficiency in shipping/packaging/pulling orders
• Ensure orders are shipped within desired time frame

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Gather and package customer orders, and will-call orders
• Stock shelves
• Track shipments as needed
• Process customer orders and take payments
• Assist in the preparation of inter-company transfers
• Cross-train on additional Shipper duties: acquiring rates, preparing customs paperwork, etc.
• Assist other departments, as required
