Job summary

Fortin's, a local family-owned business, is seeking a full-time Shipping/Receiving associate in Chilliwack at the Airport Road location. The successful candidate will be energetic, self-motivated, and capable of handling a fast-paced warehouse environment with a valid BC driver’s license and strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities include processing courier deliveries, stock checking, data entry, and assisting dispatch.

Qualifications

• Valid BC Driver's License.
• Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Forklift experience is an asset or willing to be trained.
• Physically able to lift 50 lbs continuously.
• Customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Process courier deliveries.
• Check stock orders by hand & using RF Gun.
• Cross-reference using supplied tools to ensure receiving accuracy.
• Troubleshoot and communicate discrepancies/damages in received orders.
• Data entry for stock and special orders.
• Process warehouse returns/warranties quickly.
• Maintain organization and cleanliness of the workspace.
• Help Dispatch when busy with picking orders.

F ortin's is a local, family-owned business that has been part of the community since 1946. We supply automotive/industrial products and are a part of Home Hardware.

Fortin's currently has stores in Chilliwack, Hope, and Abbotsford.

We are currently seeking an energeticand self-motivatedindividual to fill a full-time Shipping/Receiving position in Chilliwack at the Airport Road Location.

The successful Shipper/Receiver must have:

• Valid BC Driver's License
• Enjoy working with people
• Possess the ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment
• Basic computer skills - Willing to learn
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks with tight deadlines
• Experience with Forklift is an asset, or willing to be trained and certified.
• Good driver’s abstract
• Physically able and willing to lift 50lbs continuously
• Self-motivated
• Strong organizational skills
• Customer service and communication skills
• Willing to learn

This position is full-time, Monday to Friday. While not typical, a Saturday or Sunday shift may be required.

Duties & Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Process courier deliveries
