Job summary

Paradise Lodge & Bungalows in Lake Louise is seeking a friendly Lodge Host to join our team. You’ll support Front Desk, Housekeeping, and Property Operations to ensure a safe, comfortable, and memorable stay.

You’ll welcome guests, assist with arrivals and departures, share local knowledge, help maintain grounds, and work with a collaborative team. Prior hospitality or service experience is an asset; strong communication and reliability are essential.

Qualifications

• Prior hospitality, customer service, housekeeping, maintenance, or tourism experience is an asset.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Positive, professional, and dependable attitude with the ability to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding guest experiences and welcome guests with genuine hospitality.
• Assist with guest arrivals and departures and respond to requests with professionalism.
• Support front desk, housekeeping, and property operations to maintain safety and comfort.
• Share local knowledge and area attractions with guests.

Paradise Lodge & Bungalows is seeking a friendly, energetic, and hands-on Lodge Host to join our team in beautiful Lake Louise. Surrounded by stunning mountain scenery and just a short walk from world-famous Lake Louise, Paradise Lodge has built a reputation for outstanding hospitality, exceptional cleanliness, and memorable guest experiences.

As a Lodge Host, you'll play an important role in creating the welcoming atmosphere that keeps guests returning year after year. This is a dynamic position that supports Front Desk, Housekeeping, and Property Operations while helping ensure every guest enjoys a safe, comfortable, and memorable stay.

What You'll Be Doing

Deliver Outstanding Guest Experiences

• Welcome guests with genuine Rocky Mountain hospitality.
• Assist with guest arrivals and departures.
• Respond to guest requests and questions with professionalism and enthusiasm.
• Share local knowledge, hiking recommendations, and area attractions.
• Help create the warm, welcoming atmosphere Paradise Lodge is known for.

Housekeeping Excellence

• Prepare guest rooms and cabins to the high standards our guests expect.
• Change linens, replace towels, and replenish amenities.
• Clean guest accommodations, bathrooms, and common areas.

Maintain Beautiful Grounds & Property

• Assist with minor maintenance tasks and property upkeep.
• Perform snow and ice removal during winter months.
• Maintain pathways, outdoor gathering areas, and firepit spaces.
• Help ensure our grounds remain attractive, safe, and welcoming throughout the season.

Be a Team Player

• Pitch in wherever needed to support daily lodge operations.
• Assist with seasonal projects and special initiatives.
• Work collaboratively with Front Desk, Housekeeping, and Maintenance teams.
• Contribute to a positive workplace culture and exceptional guest experience.

What We’re Looking For

• Previous hospitality, customer service, housekeeping, maintenance, or tourism experience is an asset.
• Passion for creating exceptional guest experiences.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Positive, professional, and dependable attitude.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Comfortable performing physical work indoors and outdoors.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in a job well done.
• Able to understand and communicate effectively in English.

Physical Requirements

• Able to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical tasks throughout the day.
• Able to lift and carry up to 35 lbs.
• Comfortable working outdoors in changing mountain weather conditions.
• Able to safely perform snow removal and general property maintenance duties.
