Job summary

Northern Health Authority is urgently seeking locum physicians for the Chetwynd Hospital & Health Centre in Chetwynd, BC. Physicians may choose clinic-based family practice or a mix of clinic and ER, with 24-hour ER shifts from 8am to 8am.

Candidates should have current ER practice, with mandatory CCFP and CMPA requirements and relevant emergency experience. Flexible starting dates from December 2026 onward, in a region known for outdoor activity and a small-town setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinic-based family practice or a combination of clinic and ER in Chetwynd Hospital & Health Centre.
• Work in the Emergency Department with 24-hour ER shifts (8am–8am).
• Maintain current ER practice with minimum hours as specified in the posting.
