A DAY IN THE LIFE OF THE LOCATION MANAGER

In this dynamic role, the Location Manager oversees all aspects of branch operations—from customer engagement and sales support to inventory control and facility upkeep. You will build trusted relationships with local producers, offering agronomic guidance, crop planning support, and product recommendations. While managing the movement of crop inputs like seed, fertilizer, and crop protection products, you also handle forecasting, ordering, and inventory reconciliation. The role includes leading a small team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture. Whether coordinating logistics, blending fertilizer, or mentoring staff, every responsibility contributes to delivering exceptional service and driving the branch’s success.

WORK SCHEDULE

The standard work schedule is Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, however seasonal hours may vary. This is a mobile, customer-facing role with travel expected throughout the region.

AM I A GOOD FIT FOR THIS EXCITING OPPORTUNITY?

Ideal Candidates will have:

  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience in ag retail or 5+ years in agricultural sales
  • Valid Class 5 Driver’s License with a clean driving abstract
  • Proven experience in field scouting, input planning, and crop protection
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and detail-oriented

  • Familiarity with the local agriculture community

Preference will be given to those with post-secondary education in Agronomy, Crop Technology, or Agricultural Business along with working knowledge of ag retail software systems. A strong understanding of the regional market and producer needs will further support success in this role.
