Hawk's Agro is seeking an experienced Location Manager for our Gravelbourg, Saskatchewan site to lead daily operations, staff, and inventory. You will drive safety, efficiency, and a top-notch grower experience, coordinating with Sales and Operations across locations.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in Agriculture, Agribusiness, Business, or a related field is considered an asset.
• 3-7 years of experience in agricultural retail, logistics, farm service, or related industry.
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience.
• Strong understanding of crop inputs and agricultural retail operations.
• Experience managing inventory and coordinating logistics.
• Familiarity with workplace safety standards and regulatory requirements.
• Proficiency with computer systems and Microsoft Office applications.
• Valid driver's license

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the operations team at the Gravelbourg location, ensuring a safe, efficient, and well-organized working environment.
• Coordinate operational resources and provide day-to-day support to the Sales team to meet seasonal workflows and grower demand.
• Foster a positive, team-oriented culture focused on safety, accountability, and service excellence
• Support team onboarding, training, and day-to-day performance management
• Reinforce safety practices and support monthly safety meetings in coordination with the Director, Operations
• Oversee inventory positions to ensure proper supply of products based on work orders
• Coordinate forecasting activities with Sales Representatives to ensure product availability
• Monitor inventory levels and communicate shortages or surpluses across locations
• Support inventory counts and assist in resolving discrepancies in collaboration with the Director, Operations
• Coordinate local logistics, ensuring products are ready and available to meet grower timelines
• Build and maintain strong relationships with local growers and growers
• Support Sales Representatives in managing accounts and delivering a strong grower experience
• Act as a key point of contact at the location, ensuring timely and responsive service
• Support local growth initiatives and contribute to overall location performance
• Maintain strong working relationships with suppliers at the location level

Job description

Hawk's Agro is seeking an experienced and motivated Location Manager to lead the day-to-day operations, performance, and culture of our Gravelbourg retail location.

This role is primarily focused on operational leadership and execution, including overseeing the location's operations staff, managing inventory and logistics, maintaining safety and operational standards, and delivering a consistent, reliable farm-gate experience.

Working closely with Sales Representatives, Operations staff, Manager of Operations, and other locations, the Location Manager ensures local activities align with company expectations while responding to the unique needs of the Gravelbourg grower base.

The successful candidate is a hands-on operational leader who thrives in a fast-paced, seasonal environment and takes pride in maintaining a safe, efficient, well-organized, and grower-focused location.

This is an on-site position based at our Gravelbourg, Saskatchewan location.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee inventory positions at the location to ensure proper supply of products based on work orders

• Support inventory counts and assist in resolving discrepancies in collaboration with the Director, Operations

• Work collaboratively with Sales Representatives to support a consistent, responsive, and positive grower experience.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with local growers and growers
• Support Sales Representatives in managing accounts and delivering a strong grower experience
• Act as a key point of contact at the location, ensuring timely and responsive service
• Support local growth initiatives and contribute to overall location performance
• Maintain strong working relationships with suppliers at the location level

Administrative & Operational Coordination

• Support accounts receivable processes in collaboration with Sales and Administration teams
• Ensure accurate documentation related to inventory, product movement, and transactions
• Assist with managing location expenses and identifying operational efficiencies
• Maintain compliance with company policies, procedures, and operational standards
