Convoy Supply Ltd in Pickering, Ontario is seeking a self-motivated Local Delivery Driver with a Class AZ CDL to join our team. You will deliver construction materials to sites on schedule and safely, maintaining strong customer service.

You will operate a manual transmission truck, load and unload, inspect equipment daily, and ensure proper load securement. Our team emphasizes safety, reliability, and a well-maintained fleet to support your success.

Qualifications

• Strong commitment to safety and customer service.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Literate in loading/unloading procedures and load securement.
• Experience with route scheduling and on-time deliveries.
• Experience with truck-mounted forklift is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complete scheduled deliveries and pickups
• Inspect vehicle daily and maintain clean equipment
• Load and unload materials safely
• Match shipments to invoices and paperwork
• Use Samsara technology to ensure safety, efficiency and customer service
• Operate truck safely and professionally

Position Summary

If you know anything about the construction business, you know that getting the right products to the right site on time and safely is the benchmark of success. We’re looking for self‑sufficient, motivated CDL Driver for our Pickering location at 1080 Squires Beach Road who want to help us expand our fast‑growing business.

Responsibilities

• Complete scheduled deliveries and pickups
• Inspect truck and/or trailer daily
• Load and unload materials
• Match shipments to sales invoices
• Use Samsara technology to ensure compliance, safety, efficiency, and customer service
• Operate truck safely
• Ensure load securement including installation of corner boards to protect products while in transport

Requirements

• Passionate about great service & teamwork
• Dedicated to safety, on and off the road
• Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Class AZ Driver’s License with driver’s abstract
• Inspect vehicle daily as per Highway Traffic Act
• Maintain clean equipment and monitor maintenance requirements
• Experience with a truck mounted forklift (Moffett) is required
• Manual Transmission experience required
• Knowledge in legal truck weights and weight displacement
• Physically able to complete job tasks such as climbing ladders, pulling and throwing tarps, lifting up to 100 lbs
