Job summary

Convoy Supply in Etobicoke, ON seeks a Local Delivery Driver with CDL AZ for a 6 months contract. You will be responsible for timely deliveries, inspecting vehicles, loading/unloading, and ensuring secure loads while using Samsara tech for safety and efficiency.

Ideal candidates are team players who value safety, outdoor work in all weather, and compliance with Highway Traffic Act. Manual transmission experience is required.

We’re looking for self-sufficient, motivated CDL Driver for our Etobicoke, ON location at 180 Bethridge Road, M9W 1N3 who want to help us expand our fast-growing business.

Responsibilities

• Complete scheduled deliveries and pickups
• Inspect truck and/or trailer daily
• Load and unload materials
• Match shipments to sales invoices
• Use Samsara technology to ensure compliance, safety, efficiency, and customer service
• Operate truck safely
• Ensure load securement including installation of corner boards to protect products while in transport

Requirements

• Passionate about great service & teamwork
• Dedicated to safety, on and off the road
• Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Class AZ Driver’s License with driver’s abstract
• Inspect vehicle daily as per Highway Traffic Act
• Maintain clean equipment and monitor maintenance requirements
• Manual Transmission experience required
• Knowledge in legal truck weights and weight displacement
• Physically able to complete job tasks such as climbing ladders, pulling and throwing tarps, lifting up to 100 lbs
