Gordon Food Service in Lloydminster, AB, is hiring for a Delivery/Service role. You will deliver GFS products safely and on time, serve customers, and act as a liaison between management and clients. You must pass the physical ability test and reside in Lloydminster or surrounding area.

You will maintain relationships, handle payments, and support sales efforts while following safety standards and company policies. This position requires punctuality and a can-do attitude.

• Develops and maintains a good working relationship with other GFS employees.
• Maintains peer relationships in the field to share issues and ideas.
• Attending department meetings
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Position Summary

Presents a positive image to Gordon Food Service (GFS) customers through courteous, on-time, and accurate deliveries of GFS products. Serves as liaison between GFS management and customers. Communicates all customer issues and concerns. Operates GFS equipment in a professional and safe manner demonstrating attention to detail, safe work habits, working knowledge of Tractor-Trailer, refrigerated van and the ability to deal effectively with customers and the public. Must pass the required sales service representative physical ability test for area hired. Must reside in Lloydminster or surrounding area.

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities

• Ability to adhere to all safety/compliance regulations and procedures.
• Must maintain a professional appearance wearing the GFS uniform.
• This position requires punctuality, problem solving and attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
• Ability to work independently and also function in a team environment.
• Must be goal oriented with a positive “can-do” attitude.
• Ability to read, write, understand and communicate in the English language.

Equipment / Tools / Technology

• Must reside in Lloydminster or surrounding area.
• Must have a valid Class 1 License.
• Ability to operate on-board computer and handheld scanner.
• Ability to operate a delivery van and tractor-trailer CMV Must be able to operate a two-wheeled hand truck with a load weighing up to 350 pounds.
• Uses two-wheeled hand truck and other safety equipment to aid in the lifting and carrying of products averaging 50 pounds.
• Some basic knowledge of computer operations.
