Overview
The primary purpose of the Lobby Lounge Attendant is to serve our guests and maintain the highest possible guest satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Carry out all reasonable requests by management within your capabilities.
- Follow all company and local standard policies and procedures.
- Make all specialty coffees, including iced drinks and alcoholic coffees.
- Serve beverages, muffins, sandwiches, pastries, and drinks.
- Manage basic inventory of bottled beverages, pastries, and supplies.
- Know all drinks and pastries offered and hours of operation.
- Participate in departmental meetings and training.
- Attend daily pre-shift/stand-up meetings.
- Ensure your station is clean, neat, and in accordance with standards.
- Balance cash float and deposit sales at shift end.
- Follow proper cash handling procedures.
- Must be bondable.
- Answer the Lobby Lounge phone.
- Respond to guest requests and complaints, escalating to supervisor when necessary.
- Keep side tables stocked and tidy.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Handle guest items appropriately.
- Report to supervisor/manager at shift end.
- Follow health and safety requirements.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- No prior experience required, but guest/customer service experience is necessary.
- Knowledge of customer service etiquette.
- ProServe/ProTect certification is an asset.
- Good health and hygiene.
- Interest in food and beverage service.
- Positive attitude.
- Ability to work well in a team and handle stress.
- Proficiency in English.
The schedule may vary, requiring shift work, late nights, weekends, and holidays.
