A typical day for you will include:

• Supporting customers and prospects via phone and in person to provide best-in-class service.
• Assessing loan applications accurately and promptly in a fast-paced environment.
• Following credit policy rules closely to ensure risk parameters are maintained.
• Gathering loan information.
• Selling loan and protection products.
• Closing loans virtually and in person.
• Following up on past due customer accounts.
• Handling cash controls, including payments.
• Engaging in personal training and development to support our mission of delivering the best borrowing experience and earning customer trust and loyalty.

Must-haves:

• Authorized to work in Canada
• High school diploma or equivalent (asset)
• Excellent communication skills

Extra - a plus:

• At least 1 year of experience in loan underwriting or at a financial institution
• Experience with loan origination software
• Post-secondary education in Finance or Business Administration
• Maintaining a positive, supportive attitude to foster a gratifying work atmosphere
