Responsibilities

A typical day for you will include:

• Supporting customers and prospective customers via phone and in person to provide best-in-class service.
• Assessing loan applications accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Following credit policy rules closely to ensure risk parameters are maintained.
• Gathering loan information and selling our loan and protection products.
• Closing loans virtually and in person.
• Following up on past-due customer accounts.
• Handling cash controls, including taking payments.
• Participating in personal training and development to support our mission of delivering the best borrowing experience and earning customer trust and loyalty.

Must-haves:

• Authorized to work in Canada
• High school diploma or equivalent is an asset
• Excellent communication skills

Extra - nice to have:

• At least 1 year of experience in loan underwriting or at a financial institution.
• Experience with loan origination software.
• Post-secondary education in Finance or Business Administration.
• A positive, supportive attitude to help maintain a gratifying work atmosphere.
