This is a permanent, home-based role with travel within Northern Alberta and BC, based in the Grande Prairie, AB area.

Responsibilities include:

  • Achieving squad P&L targets collaboratively
  • Planning and executing short, mid, and long-term cycles
  • Adapting and re-prioritizing tasks to meet goals
  • Collaborating within the squad for clarity and customer focus
  • Supporting Bayer’s portfolio using digital tools, agronomic expertise, market insights, and data
  • Contributing to team dynamics through recruitment, performance feedback
  • Ensuring safety and compliance in the work environment
  • Collaborating to implement new products and increase value
  • Driving demand and awareness of Bayer’s digital tools
  • Enhancing digital skills for customer acquisition and engagement
  • Providing on-farm expertise on Bayer’s precision agriculture technologies
  • Building and maintaining customer relationships, focusing on digital interactions

Candidate profile:

  • BSc in Agriculture or related field with at least 2 years of experience
  • Knowledge of OEM and aftermarket equipment, GPS, autoguidance, and farm management software
  • Flexible, adaptable, with strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Customer-focused with data management and interpretation skills
  • Understanding of local crop production, agronomy, and Bayer’s portfolio
  • Problem-solving skills in complex situations with minimal guidance
  • Valid driver’s license and safe driving ability

Preferred additional skills:

  • Certifications such as CCA, CCSC, PAg(RTAg), or OAQ
  • Advanced computer skills, including MS Office, CRM, Tableau
