Job summary

The Loan Administrator, part of the OPC-FTO Loan Operations teams, is responsible for day-to-day tasks to successfully execute CACIB loan operations and to use available resources to ensure productivity and quality of the Loan Operations platform.

The role also manages the local referential for US data, supports loan production with a small team, and ensures timely, controlled BAU processes for Crédit Agricole CIB's loan portfolio.

Qualifications

• Day-to-day loan operations experience or familiarity with loan administration processes.
• Ability to maintain data quality and adhere to controls and procedures.
• Experience coordinating with multiple teams and regions.

Responsibilities

• Administering Drawdowns, Rollovers, Repayments, Pre-payments, Funding, Rate-Fixings, Fees and Commission posting, External payments, collection of interest, Nostro Reconciliations, and related data management.
• Ensuring BAU processes are performed timely and with appropriate controls for Crédit Agricole CIB loan facilities.
• Maintaining knowledge and completing mandatory training to stay qualified for the role.
• Complying with local regulations and escalating issues or control gaps to the Team Leader.
• Undertaking ad hoc duties and project work to assist Management and system enhancements (e.g., UAT).

Job description

Part of the OPC-FTO Loan Operations teams located in New York and Mumbai, in coordination with Business Support groups, the Loan Administrator is responsible to perform day-to-day tasks to successfully execute operations related to CACIB loan activity, and to use available resources to ensure pro-efficiently the productivity and quality of the Loan Operations platform

The Loan Administrator is also responsible for:

• The management of the local referential for US and of some processes related to the Data management unit for US
• Loan production with a team of 3-5 members as part of a group of 15 total, and is responsible for the daily administration and servicing of loans where CACIB acts in a Participant, Agent or Direct Lender role.

Main responsibilities:

Day-to-day Tasks and Operations:

• Administering Drawdowns, Rollovers, Repayments, Pre-payments, Funding, Rate-Fixings, Fees and Commission posting, External payments, collection of interest, Nostro Reconciliations, general administration related to the loans portfolio managed along with undertaking ADHOC queries and investigations, monitoring all associated data under responsibility of the unit
• The jobholder will have day-to-day responsibility for the administration of all facilities and associated products linked with these, for Crédit Agricole CIB. Ensuring that all Business-As-Usual processes are undertaken in a timely and efficient manner and necessary controls are adhered to

Learning and Development

• Maintain appropriate knowledge to ensure to be fully qualified to undertake the role. Complete all mandatory training as required to attain and maintain competence.

Data Quality Management & Controls

• Ensure compliance with all necessary controls and procedures in respect of local regulations of branches serviced
• Responsibility to escape any issues/problems or control gaps to their Team Leader

Process Improvement & Projects

• Undertake ADHOC duties and project work to assist the Management team
• When necessary assist the management team in the enhancement of systems, notably Users Acceptance Tests (UAT)
