Job summary

Lantic Inc. is hiring temporary loader operators for the Taber factory’s sugar beet campaign. The role involves operating loader equipment in a physically demanding environment, with shifts that rotate 12 hours, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities include lifting 15–20 kg repeatedly, standing and walking most of the shift, and adhering to safety protocols. Night shift differential applies; boot PPE is required.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift 15–20 kg on a consistent basis.
• Able to stand and walk for the majority of the shift.
• Rotating 12-hour shifts (3 on, 3 off, 3 nights on, 3 off) across weekends and holidays.

Lantic Inc. is hiring for temporary loader operators for our sugar beet Campaign in our Taber Factory.

The duties required of you will be physically demanding. Conditions can be hot, cold, wet, dry, dusty, and loud. Successful candidates must be able to lift 15-20 kg on a consistent basis and be able to stand and walk for the majority of their shift.

• $23.40/hour (base rate) with an additional $1.75 night shift differential, vacation paid out bi-weekly.
• Must be available to work rotating 12-hour shifts, (3 days on, 3 off, 3 nights on, 3 off) through weekends and holidays, with an average of 42 hours/week.
• Steel toed boots are required, all other PPE is supplied.
• Valid Loader Operator ticket and/or experience is preferred,although on the job training is provided.
• Expected start date is September 14, 2026.

PRE-EMPLOYMENT DRUG TEST IS REQUIRED
