The ideal candidate will assist skilled tradespeople in various construction tasks, with a primary focus on roofing projects. This role requires hands‑on experience in roofing, the ability to work at heights, and a strong commitment to safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Roofing Assistance: Support roofers in installing, repairing, and replacing roofs, including shingling, tarping, and waterproofing
• Material Handling: Load and unload roofing materials, tools, and equipment from trucks and distribute them to appropriate work areas
• Site Preparation: Prepare construction sites by setting up ladders, scaffolding, and safety barriers, and ensuring that all necessary tools and materials are ready for use
• Clean‑Up: Assist in maintaining a clean and organized worksite, including the removal of debris and unused materials
• Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols and procedures, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and fall protection systems
• Basic Construction Tasks: Perform general construction tasks such as measuring, cutting, and fitting materials, under the supervision of experienced tradespeople
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with the roofing team to ensure projects are completed on time and meet quality standards
