Job summary

Semex / Boviteq in Saint-Hyacinthe, QC, is seeking an Animal Health Technician to support the health and development of all bulls on site. The role runs Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM, in person at our Saint-Hyacinthe location.

You will manage animal data, assist with veterinary procedures, and help maintain drug inventories. Candidates should have a college diploma in animal health technology, strong livestock care knowledge, and excellent communication skills to work effectively with the

• Excellent communication skills and teamwork.
• Ability to follow Biosecurity protocols and SOPs.
• Physically capable of handling cows and standing for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Enter animal data into files and computer programs.
• Handle, immobilize, and care for animals during veterinary manipulations.
• Collaborate in the diagnosis by transmitting observed clinical signs.
• Maintain up-to-date inventories of drugs and materials necessary for animal health interventions.
