Forum is seeking a hands-on Live-In Superintendent for a Nepean, ON property. This full-time role starts at $39,000 per year with live-in accommodation and benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Superintendent or similar hands-on role.
• Strong maintenance and troubleshooting abilities.
• Experience with plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall and painting.
• Reliable, organized, proactive, able to work independently.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Experience in residential or multi-unit properties is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Respond to resident maintenance requests and perform repairs.
• Troubleshoot and fix basic plumbing, electrical, drywall, painting, and carpentry.
• Conduct regular property inspections and address safety concerns.
• Maintain common areas and monitor overall property condition.
• Assist with suite turnovers and prepare units for new residents.
• Coordinate access for contractors and service providers.
• Monitor building systems and report larger issues to management.
• Support garbage, recycling and general property upkeep.
• Respond to urgent property issues as needed.
• Build positive relationships with residents.

What You'll Do

As the on-site Superintendent, you'll play an important role in keeping theproperty running smoothly and ensuring residents have a clean, safe, andwell-maintained place to call home. Your responsibilities will include:

• Responding to resident maintenance requests and completing general repairs
• Troubleshooting and performing basic plumbing, electrical, drywall, painting,
  and carpentry work
• Completing regular property inspections and identifying maintenance or safetyconcerns
• Maintaining common areas and monitoring the overall condition of the property
• Assisting with suite turnovers and preparing units for new residents
• Coordinating access for contractors and service providers
• Monitoring building systems and reporting larger issues to management
• Assisting with garbage, recycling, and general property upkeep
• Responding to urgent property issues when required
• Building positive and professional relationships with residents

What We're Looking For

• Experience as a Superintendent, Building Operator, Maintenance Technician, or
  in a similar hands-on role
• Strong general maintenance and troubleshooting skills
• Experience with basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, and painting
• Someone who is reliable, organized, proactive, and able to work independently
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Experience working in residential or multi-unit properties is an asset
• Comfortable using hand and power tools safely
