Forum is seeking a hands-on Live-In Superintendent to maintain a multi-unit property in Nepean, ON. This on-site role covers repairs, safety, and delivering a great resident experience.

Responsibilities include responding to maintenance requests, basic plumbing/electrical work, inspections, and coordinating with contractors. We offer live-in accommodation, health benefits, paid time off, and a starting salary of $39,000 per year as a full-time position.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Superintendent, Building Operator, Maintenance Technician, or similar hands-on role.
• Strong general maintenance and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with basic plumbing, electrical, drywall, and painting.
• Reliable, organized, proactive, and able to work independently.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Respond to resident maintenance requests and complete general repairs.
• Troubleshoot and perform basic plumbing, electrical, drywall, painting, and carpentry work.
• Complete regular property inspections and identify maintenance or safety concerns.
• Maintain common areas and monitor the overall condition of the property.
• Assist with suite turnovers and prepare units for new residents.
• Coordinate access for contractors and service providers.
• Monitor building systems and report larger issues to management.
• Assist with garbage, recycling, and general property upkeep.
• Respond to urgent property issues when required.
• Build positive and professional relationships with residents.

What You'll Do

As the on-site Superintendent, you'll play an important role in keeping the property running smoothly and ensuring residents have a clean, safe, and well-maintained place to call home.
