Job summary

Sioux Lookout First Nations Health Authority seeks a full-time Superintendent to manage Onaman Ziibi facilities, ensure safety and cleanliness, and lead maintenance operations. The role requires flexibility for after-hours work, including evenings and weekends, and entails supervising staff and coordinating with contractors.

Qualifications

• Preference for Indigenous candidates as per OHRC guidelines.
• Excellent verbal and written communication across diverse groups.
• Experience in building maintenance or related skilled trades.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operation and maintenance of Onaman Ziibi facilities.
• Ensure safety, cleanliness, and COVID-19 guidelines compliance.
• Respond to maintenance issues and coordinate repairs with contractors.
• Manage on-call maintenance and guest support as needed.
• Maintain logs, inventories, and preventive maintenance schedules.
• Supervise maintenance staff and coordinate with the Supervisor, Maintenance.
