Job summary

FirstService Residential in Campbell River is seeking a Live-In Building Manager to oversee the day-to-day operation of the building and ensure an excellent living experience for tenants.

The ideal candidate will have strong English communication, at least two years of building-management experience, and the ability to coordinate maintenance, screen applicants, and manage rents and security deposits. This is a full-time, weekday role with regular hours and a focus on community building.

Qualifications

• Previous experience with rental buildings is an asset.
• At least two years of Building Manager experience is required.
• Excellent written and oral English required.
• Strong written and verbal communication with tenants and staff.

Responsibilities

• Regular interactions with tenants and the Property Manager to discuss operations.
• Clean common areas to keep them pristine.
• Inspect common areas and identify maintenance needs.
• Coordinate maintenance and emergency repairs.
• Rent available suites; screen applications and complete tenancy paperwork.
• Schedule move-in/out, inspect suites, maintain records.
• Collect and deposit rents and security deposits.
