Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment Partnership (MLSE) is offering a Live Events Intern position at Scotiabank Arena in Toronto. You will assist in planning and executing internal events, gaining hands-on experience while engaging with multiple departments and stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery.

The role reports to the Events Manager, Live Events, and involves coordinating with internal clients, preparing event details, and supporting event staff briefings.

Competenze

• Currently enrolled in a University or College degree/diploma in a sport, public relations, event management, or communications-related field.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Must be able to work independently with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Outgoing, diplomatic, and self-motivated. Ability to perform well under pressure, multitask, and meet multiple deadlines.
• A positive attitude, incorporating integrity, confidentiality, and discretion.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook required.
• Previous experience planning, coordinating, and executing events is an asset.
• Ability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as required.

Mansioni

• Support event-day execution with the Live Events team.
• Act as main contact for internal clients after booking.
• Prepare and share event details with all departments.
• Generate event cost estimates after client consultations.
• Conduct event briefings for staff on event days.
• Assist with administrative duties: scheduling, calendars, updates.
• Support other departments as needed.
