Job summary

MLSE Partnership's Live Events Internship at Scotiabank Arena offers hands-on experience planning and executing internal events, from small gatherings to large-scale productions. Reporting to the Events Manager, Live Events, you will engage with multiple departments and develop communication skills with audiences and staff.

You will support event day personnel, coordinate details, prepare estimates, and assist with calendar updates and scheduling.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a degree/diploma in sport, PR, event management, or communications-related field.
• Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented with high accuracy; able to work independently.
• Outgoing, diplomatic, and self-motivated under pressure; multitask.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Support event execution by coordinating with Live Events team.
• Serve as main contact for internal clients after booking.
• Prepare and share event details with all departments.
• Generate event cost estimates with MLSE departments.
• Conduct event briefings for staff and weekly inter-departmental meetings.
• Assist with admin tasks: calendars, scheduling, venue updates.
• Support Event Managers and Programming team as needed.
