Compass-Group is seeking a Front of House Manager for a Part Time, on-site role at the Peterborough Memorial Center in Peterborough, ON. You will lead front-line staff, oversee concessions and dining areas during major events, manage inventory, ensure food safety, and deliver a premier fan experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and motivate frontline associates during live game-day operations.
• Coordinate station setups, associate assignments geared to event schedules.
• Train and coach team members on speed of service, upselling, and point-of-sale (POS) systems.
• Resolve fan complaints quickly and professionally to maintain a positive arena atmosphere.
• Manage opening and closing procedures for assigned concession stands, bars, or premium suites.
• Reconcile cash drawers, process card payments, and verify inventory counts before and after event shifts.
• Monitor stock levels before, mid-event, and after to be sure there is rapid replacement.
• Maximize sales by ensuring all menu items are correctly priced, displayed, and prepared
• Enforce strict food safety and sanitation guidelines in compliance with HACCP, local health regulations, all Compass policies, and ensure all logs are filled out correctly.
• Maintain pristine cleanliness across all service areas, and condiment stations.
• Ensure responsible alcohol service by verifying ID's and using your Smart Serve.
