Job summary

Synectics Inc. seeks a Litigation Lawyer with at least 2 years of experience to join our civil and commercial litigation practice in Montreal, QC. The ideal candidate will independently manage files from inception through trial and be comfortable in a flexible, collaborative environment.

The role emphasizes courtroom experience, strong drafting skills, and the ability to develop the practice and client relationships while delivering practical legal advice.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of litigation experience.
• Experience in civil and/or commercial litigation preferred.
• Strong drafting and communication skills; courtroom experience is a must.

Responsibilities

• Manage civil and commercial litigation files from start to finish, including trial preparation and representation.
• Represent clients in court proceedings and advocate for their interests.
• Draft pleadings, motions, legal opinions, and other litigation documents.
• Develop litigation strategies and provide practical legal advice to clients.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships.
• Manage an independent caseload while collaborating with colleagues.
• Identify opportunities to develop a practice and contribute to the growth of the litigation department.
