Otter Co-op is accepting applications for a Part-Time Liquor Store Associate at Angry Otter Liquor @ Vintage in West Kelowna, BC. You will report to the Liquor Store Manager and provide friendly service while handling transactions and stocking shelves.

The role requires Serving it Right, possibly WSET 1 within a year, and open availability for diverse shifts. Benefit from competitive wages, bonuses, and a supportive team culture.

Qualifications

• Liquor retail experience is preferred.
• Serving it Right license is required.
• Must be over 19 years of age.
• Open availability to work mornings, afternoons, and late evenings.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for full shift.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to guests in a courteous, efficient manner.
• Process register transactions, refunds, and returns; activate gift cards.
• Ensure register drawer is balanced at end of shift following company procedures.
• Stock, face, and rotate products on the shelves.
• Receive, check, and put away deliveries.
• Keep store and storage areas clean and organized.
• Utilize product knowledge to promote sales.
• Contribute to the team in living the Corporate Values of Integrity, Community and Excellence.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What you’ll do:

• MUST be over 19 years of age to be considered
• MUST have open availability and able to work a variety of shifts that include mornings, afternoons, and late evenings
• This position is based out of the Vintage Liquor Store, though it may require on some occasions to travel and work at other locations as business needs arise
