Job summary

Otter Co-op is seeking two Part-Time Liquor Store Associates for Angry Otter Liquor @ Cambie in Vancouver, BC. You will report to the Liquor Store Manager and help deliver friendly, efficient service to guests while handling transactions, stocking shelves, and maintaining a clean, organized store.

Ideal candidates bring liquor retail experience or related certification, are comfortable in a fast-paced setting, and are over 19 years old.

Qualifications

• Liquor retail experience is preferred
• Serving it Right certification is required
• Ability to lift, push, pull up to 50 lbs
• Must be over 19 years of age
• WSET 1 or higher is an asset
• Comfort with fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Team player with strong communication skills

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to guests in a courteous, efficient manner
• Process register transactions, refunds, and returns, activate gift cards
• Ensure register drawer is balanced at the end of shift following company procedures
• Stock, face, and rotate products on the shelves
• Receive, check, and put away deliveries
• Keep store and storage areas clean and organized
• Utilize product knowledge to promote sales
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Contribute to the Team in living the Corporate Values of Integrity, Community and Excellence

Otter Co-op is now accepting applications for two Part-Time Liquor Store Associatesat our Angry Otter Liquor @ Cambielocated in Vancouver, BC.

What you’ll do:

Reporting to the Liquor Store Manager, responsibilities for this position include the following:

• MUST have open availability and able to work a variety of shifts that include mornings, afternoons, and late evenings
• This position is based out of the Cambie Liquor Store, though it may be require on some occasions to travel and work at other locations as business needs arise
