Job summary

Otter Co-op is hiring a Part-Time Liquor Store Associate at Angry Otter Liquor in Dundarave, West Vancouver, BC. You will provide friendly service, handle register transactions, stock shelves, and help with deliveries.

You must be over 19, have a Serving It Right license, and be available mornings, afternoons, and evenings. WSET accreditation is a plus; occasional travel to other locations may be required.

Qualifications

• Liquor retail experience is preferred.
• Serving It Right license is required.
• Team player with strong communication skills.
• Problem solver and quick learner.
• WSET accreditation is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to guests in a courteous, efficient manner.
• Process register transactions, refunds, and returns; activate gift cards.
• Ensure register drawer is balanced at shift end following procedures.
• Stock, face, and rotate products on shelves.
• Receive, check, and put away deliveries.
• Keep store and storage areas clean and organized.
• Utilize product knowledge to promote sales.
• Contribute to the team in living the values of Integrity, Community and Excellence.

What you’ll do:

Reporting to the Liquor Store Manager, responsibilities for this position include the following:

• Provide excellent customer service to guests in a courteous, efficient manner
• Process register transactions, refunds, and returns, activate gift cards
• Ensure register drawer is balanced at the end of shift following company procedures
• Stock, face, and rotate products on the shelves
• Receive, check, and put away deliveries

• This position is based out of the DundaraveLiquor Store, though it may require on some occasions to travel and work at other locations as business needs arise
