Otter Co-op in West Kelowna, BC, is hiring a Full-Time Liquor Store Associate for Angry Otter Liquor @ Okanagan Lake. The role reports to the Liquor Store Manager and involves delivering excellent guest service, processing transactions, stocking shelves, and maintaining clean, organized stores across shifts.

Ideal candidates have liquor retail experience, a Serving it Right license, and are at least 19 years old with open availability for mornings, afternoons, and evenings.

Qualifications

• Liquor retail experience is preferred.
• Serving it Right license is required.
• WSET 1 minimum accreditation must be obtained within the first year of employment.
• Must be over 19 years of age and able to work a variety of shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide courteous customer service and process transactions.

What you’ll do:

Reporting to the Liquor Store Manager, responsibilities for this position include the following:

• Provide excellent customer service to guests in a courteous, efficient manner
• Process register transactions, refunds, and returns, activate gift cards
• Ensure register drawer is balanced at the end of shift following company procedures
• Stock, face, and rotate products on the shelves
• Receive, check, and put away deliveriesKeep store and storage areas clean and organized
• Utilize product knowledge to promote sales
• Contribute to the Team in living the Corporate Values of Integrity, Community and Excellence
• Perform other duties as assigned

• This position is based out of the Okanagan Lake Liquor Store, though it may require on some occasions to travel and work at other locations as business needs arise
