Otter Co-op in West Kelowna, BC, is hiring a Full-Time Liquor Store Associate for Angry Otter Liquor at Okanagan Lake. You will deliver friendly, efficient service, process transactions, and keep shelves stocked and organized. The role requires Serving it Right, a 19+ eligibility, and flexible shifts including mornings, afternoons and some evenings.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to guests in a courteous, efficient manner.
• Process register transactions, refunds, and returns; activate gift cards.
• Ensure register drawer is balanced at shift end according to procedures.
• Stock, face, and rotate products on the shelves.
• Receive, check and put away deliveries; keep store clean and organized.
• Utilize product knowledge to promote sales.

What you’ll do:

Reporting to the Liquor Store Manager, responsibilities for this position include the following:

• Provide excellent customer service to guests in a courteous, efficient manner
• Process register transactions, refunds, and returns, activate gift cards
• Ensure register drawer is balanced at the end of shift following company procedures
• Stock, face, and rotate products on the shelves
• Receive, check, and put away deliveriesKeep store and storage areas clean and organized
• Utilize product knowledge to promote sales
• Contribute to the Team in living the Corporate Values of Integrity, Community and Excellence
• Perform other duties as assigned

Who you are:

• Ability to physically lift, push, pull up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis and stand for full8 hourshift
• Must be committed to a SAFE working environment
• MUST be over 19 years of age to be considered
• MUST have open availability and able to work a variety of shifts that include mornings, afternoons, and late evenings
• This position is based out of the Okanagan Lake Liquor Store, though it may require on some occasions to travel and work at other locations as business needs arise
