Otter Co-op is hiring a Full-Time Liquor Store Associate for the Angry Otter Liquor at Cherry Lane in Penticton, BC. Reporting to the Liquor Store Manager, you will handle transactions, assist guests, stock shelves, and help maintain a welcoming store environment.

The role requires Serving It Right, a customer‑oriented mindset, and the ability to work a variety of shifts. Wages are posted and benefits may apply; travel to other locations may be required.

Qualifications

• Liquor retail experience is preferred.
• Serving it Right license is required.
• Must be over 19 years of age.
• Open availability with a variety of shifts (mornings, afternoons, evenings).
• Ability to travel to other locations as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to guests in a courteous, efficient manner.
• Process register transactions, refunds, and returns; activate gift cards.
• Balance cash drawer at end of shift according to procedures.
• Stock, face, and rotate products on shelves.
• Receive, check and store deliveries; keep areas clean and organized.
• Promote sales using product knowledge; support team in living core values.

Otter Co-op is now accepting applications for a Full-Time Liquor Store Associate at our Angry Otter Liquor @ Cherry Lane located in Penticton, BC.

What you’ll do:

Reporting to the Liquor Store Manager, responsibilities for this position include the following:

• Provide excellent customer service to guests in a courteous, efficient manner
• Process register transactions, refunds, and returns, activate gift cards
• Ensure register drawer is balanced at the end of shift following company procedures
• Stock, face, and rotate products on the shelves
• Receive, check, and put away deliveries
• Keep store and storage areas clean and organized
• Utilize product knowledge to promote sales
• Contribute to the Team in living the Corporate Values of Integrity, Community and Excellence
• Perform other duties as assigned

Who you are:

Youare looking for a career inRetail Store Operations as well as:

• Ability to physically lift, push, pull up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis and stand for full 8 hour shift

• MUST have open availability and able to work a variety of shifts that include mornings, afternoons, and late evenings
• This position is based out of the Cherry Lane Liquor Store, though it may require on some occasions to travel and work at other locations as business needs arise
