Job summary

CoolIT Systems is seeking a Specialist Liquid Cooling Engineer to drive engagements with Designers, Consulting Firms, Colocators, and hyperscalers across the EMEA region, specifying CoolIT liquid cooling solutions and acting as a trusted solution advisor. This role will grow revenue, engagement and market share by serving as the primary technical interface between CoolIT and its strategic customers.

Overview

The Specialist Liquid Cooling Engineer is responsible for developing and managing strategic relationships with Designer, Consulting Firms, Colocators, hyperscalers, across the EMEA region for early engagement specifying CoolIT Systems liquid cooling solution and also becoming a trusted solution advisor. This role will drive revenue growth, customer engagement, business expansion, and market share by serving as the primary technical interface between CoolIT and its strategic customers. The successful candidate will possess strong technical capabilities, a deep understanding of data center infrastructure, and experience navigating complex multinational customer organizations.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with sales and corporate account teams to support industry-specific or strategic technical sales opportunities.
• Consult on thermal management solutions, improving cold plate and cooling distribution unit performance.
• Work closely with designers/clients to understand their technology requirements, recommend suitable solutions, and provide training and support to ensure proper use of implemented systems.
• Lead problem-solving efforts by utilizing various root cause analysis methodologies to resolve application or best practice concerns at customer sites.
• Collaborate with R&D and Marketing on innovation projects, from ideation to launch, by completing Phase Gate milestones such as refining value propositions, defining operational savings, creating technical documentation, and educating internal and external stakeholders.
• Lead innovation pilot applications, technical trials and market trials.
• Delivers value to customers using a problem-solving mindset to deliver innovative results.
• Facilitate training for associates and customers, sharing specialized knowledge to foster skill development and proficiency.
• Coach individuals in the organization on processes, applications, technologies, and value documentation.

Basic Qualifications

• Demonstrable technical expertise and experience in liquid cooling solutions.
• Proven experience in complex cooling solutions/equipment and engineered solutions from data center and the wider industry.
• Inquisitive mind, challenging the status quo and embracing disruptive technologies.
• Excellent communicator, able to consult, coach and mentor both internal stakeholders and customers alike.
• Value mindset with a focus on delivering measurable savings and impact to our customers.
• Solution oriented, problem solving mindset to complex challenges.
• Willing and able to travel throughout Europe to customer sites.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree
• Strong technical knowledge of liquid cooling systems and solutions.
• 2+ years of successful technical implementation, production management, process engineering, technical sales, or field sales support experience.
• Must have a valid Driver's License.
