- 6-8 years experience in Backup technologies.
- Excellent knowledge of TSM, Data Domain, Avamar, and Object Storage. Responsible for monitoring, restoring services, making changes, supporting, and handling day-to-day activities 24/7/365 to ensure mission-critical systems operate smoothly and meet business service levels.
- Monitor and ensure service restoration of infrastructure, applications (online and offline), and security, while adhering to service level agreements.
- Provide Help/Service Desk support, coordinate incident management, deploy changes to the production environment, and engage third-party providers during incidents.
- Respond immediately to production system problems. Participate in testing cycles to ensure deployment readiness and infrastructure operability.
- Deploy, implement, and provision applications and infrastructure according to deployment plans and build guides.
- Assist end-users via inbound calls for application, technical, and IMACD needs, utilizing knowledge bases and run books.
- Collaborate with operations personnel to develop and implement measures to improve production reliability and compliance.
- Monitor and track system performance, addressing any issues promptly.
- Proactively monitor system performance and identify operational improvements to ensure smooth delivery.
- Support deployment activities, managing issues through resolution.
- Monitor infrastructure, applications, and business transactions using automated systems and instrumentation.
- Understand IT operating processes to ensure effective delivery, including monitoring, logging, and alerting standards.
