Skyservice Business Aviation Inc. is seeking a Ground Services / Ramp Attendant to safely marshal aircraft, operate fueling trucks, and provide comprehensive ground services.

The role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and high-quality customer interactions on a dynamic ramp environment. Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or GED, a Class 5 license with DZ possibility, and strong teamwork and communication skills.

Formación

• High school Diploma or GED required.
• Class 5 driver’s license with ability to obtain DZ license.
• Aviation experience is an asset.
• Team player with good communication skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Mechanically-inclined is an asset.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Able to work outside in varying weather conditions.

Responsabilidades

• Safely marshalling arriving and departing aircraft; provide car valet, luggage handling as needed.
• Safely operate fuel trucks and complete aircraft orders.
• Perform loading/receiving of fuel at storage facility (YYZ only).
• Conduct aviation/jet fuel quality checks and document inspections.
• Tow aircraft in/out of hangars and ramps.
• Provide ground services (power units, waste disposal, water, etc.).
• Ensure readiness of anti-ice equipment in winter.
• Maintain professional appearance and conduct with customers and coworkers.
• Maintain facility and equipment cleanliness.
• Other duties as required.

SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES

• Safely marshalling in and out arriving and departing aircrafts, taking care to secure the aircraft and provide car valet service, luggage handling as necessary;
• Safely operate fuel trucks - fueling and completing aircraft orders;
• Performing loading and receiving of fuel at storage facility (YYZ only);
• Handle aviation/jet fuel quality checks by conducting various tests and procedures;
• Document fuel quality and fueling equipment inspections on applicable forms;
• Tow aircraft in and out of hangars and on aprons/ramps;
• Provide any number of ground services to aircrafts (i.e. connecting ground power units, lavatory waste disposal, potable water etc.);
• Ensure readiness and replenishment of anti-ice equipment during winter snow events;
• Maintain a professional appearance and conduct with customers and coworkers;
• Maintain the cleanliness of all facilities and equipment;
• Other duties as required.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS REQUIRED

• High school Diploma or GED required;
• Must have a Class 5 driver's license with ability to obtain DZ license;
• Aviation experience is considered an asset;
• Must be a team player with good communication skills;
• Must have basic computer skills;
• Excellent customer service skills;
• Being mechanically-inclined is considered an asset;
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs;
• Ability to work outside in a variety of weather/environmental conditions.
