Job summary

Role Description

The Line Maintenance Supervisor is a full-time, on-site role based in Mississauga, ON, responsible for overseeing day-to-day line maintenance activities on aircraft. This role coordinates and assigns maintenance tasks, monitors work progress, and ensures all activities comply with regulatory requirements, company policies, and safety standards. The supervisor reviews maintenance documentation, verifies completion and accuracy of work orders, and supports troubleshooting of technical issues to minimize aircraft downtime. In addition, this position mentors and guides maintenance technicians, promotes adherence to preventive maintenance programs, and collaborates with operations, logistics, and quality teams to meet schedule and performance targets.

Qualifications

• Strong Supervisory Skills, including team leadership, task coordination, and performance management.
• Hands-on experience in Equipment Maintenance and Preventive Maintenance for aircraft systems and components.
• Proficiency in Maintenance & Repair practices, with the ability to interpret technical manuals and maintenance documentation.
• Effective Troubleshooting skills for identifying, diagnosing, and resolving mechanical and avionics issues in a timely manner.
• Knowledge of Transport Canada regulations, AMO standards, and applicable aviation maintenance procedures.
• Several years of experience in aircraft line maintenance or related aviation maintenance environment; prior supervisory or lead technician experience is an asset.
• Valid AME M2 and A&P license is required
