Job summary

Sun Peaks Grand Hotel & Conference Centre is seeking enthusiastic Line Cooks for the upcoming season to join our bustling kitchens. You will assist in cleaning, preparing, and cooking according to planned menus, delivering high-quality meals for hotel and guest services.

With 1-2 years of kitchen experience and a passion for culinary excellence, you will thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and have opportunities to advance within our resort family.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of culinary experience, preferably in a hotel or resort.
• Banquet production experience is a plus.
• Red Seal certification is considered an asset.
• Food Safe Level 1 certification required or pursued.
• Strong knowledge of kitchen operations and food safety.
• Self-discipline and a desire to deliver guest-focused service.
• Ability to adapt to varying restaurant volumes and shifts.

Responsibilities

• Assist in cleaning, prepping and cooking on assigned station.
• Follow standard recipes and ensure portion control.
• Inspect delivered food products and maintain quality standards.
• Operate the station per health and safety guidelines.
• Support chefs in day-to-day service and banquet prep.
• Restock and maintain station readiness for shifts.
