Job summary

Sun Peaks Resort LLP is seeking Prep Cook-Dishwashers for the upcoming season. Join a slope-side team delivering food and beverage services to hotel and resort guests, with flexible shifts and opportunities for advancement.

You will support culinary operations, food preparation, health and safety, sanitation, and storage in busy kitchens. This on-site role offers a clear path to develop a career in the culinary arts within Tourism/Hospitality.

Qualifications

• Self-starts on tasks with the ability to respond to changing volumes.
• Physically capable of working in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Works well in a team and supports others when needed.
• Self-disciplined with a drive to deliver elevated guest experiences.
• Culinary education or experience is an asset, not required.
• Pursuing a culinary career or Red Seal certification is a plus.
• Holds a valid Food Safe Level 1 certificate.
• Basic understanding of kitchen operations and sanitation.

Responsibilities

• Washes dishes for guest service and food preparation in line with health standards.
• Maintains sanitation and cleanliness of service ware and work areas.
• Keeps food prep and storage areas clean and organized; manages refrigeration.
• Delivers food supplies to kitchens and tracks dating/products.
• Prepares fruits and vegetables according to established standards.
• Supports guest experience by upholding sanitation excellence.
