Job summary

Murphy Hospitality Group and Brickhouse Kitchen & Bar are seeking a Line Cook to prepare high-quality dishes and work with a tight-knit kitchen team. You will cook items to the highest standard and ensure timely plating while following safety and sanitation rules.

Weekend availability and a positive, energetic attitude are valued. Culinary diploma or prior cooking experience is a plus, and there are development opportunities and employee discounts across Atlantic Canada.

Qualifications

• Cooking experience is an asset.
• A culinary diploma or degree is considered an asset.
• Availability to work on weekends from 9 am to 5 pm is considered an asset.
• A desire for personal and professional development.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food and menu items to the highest standard.
• Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff.
• Ensure food comes out simultaneously in high quality and in a timely fashion.
• Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards.
• Clean kitchen and work area.
• Follow all operations policies and procedures.
• Work alongside the restaurant team to establish a safe and fun atmosphere.
