Job summary

Cineplex in Dartmouth is seeking a part-time Hourly Line Cook to support high-volume kitchen operations. You will prepare food items, maintain sanitation, and work as part of a busy team in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include setting up stations, following recipes and safety procedures, and assisting with cleaning and organization of kitchen areas. Flexibility to handle shifts and accommodate menu needs is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Professional diploma or food services management preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of cooking experience required.
• Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and presentation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare daily food items in pantry, fry and/or stations.
• Set up station according to guidelines.
• Follow clean-as-you-go procedures and safety rules.
• Assist with cleaning, sanitation and organization of kitchen areas.
• Prepare dishes for customers with allergies or intolerances.
• Ensure correct portion sizes and temperatures.
• Maintain equipment and station cleanliness throughout shift.
