Job summary

Cineplex Entertainment LP in Canada is seeking an Hourly Line Cook to support a high-volume kitchen. You will perform daily prep across pantry and fry stations, follow recipes and portion controls, and ensure cleanliness and safety in line with company standards.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and experience in a similar environment, plus knowledge of sanitation and food safety. Flexible scheduling is required; a professional diploma is an asset but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Daily set-up and preparation of food items in pantry, fry, or other kitchen areas.
• Follow recipes, portion controls, and presentation specifications.
• Restock items throughout the shift.
• Clean, sanitize, and organize kitchen, walk-in coolers, and storage areas.
• Adhere to regulations including blood borne pathogens, infection control, hazardous materials, and fire safety.
• Perform additional responsibilities as requested by chef or sous chef.
