The Josie, a Marriott Autograph Collection hotel in Rossland, BC, is hiring for seasonal Line Cook roles for the 2026/2027 Red Mountain Ski Season. Join our culinary team to prepare high‑quality meals in a fast-paced mountain environment, bringing enthusiasm for food safety and guest service.

Qualifications

• Previous culinary experience in hotel, restaurant, or commercial kitchen environments is required.
• Valid FoodSafe Certificate is required.
• Flexible availability and reliable transportation to get to/from work.
• Knowledge of food handling, safety standards, and meal preparation techniques.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook a variety of menu items with precision and efficiency, ensuring consistency and quality.
• Assist with food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures to maintain a safe and clean kitchen environment.
• Support the food service team by serving meals promptly and courteously to guests.
• Follow all food safety protocols and adhere to health regulations during meal preparation and service.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy periods.
• Maintain cleanliness of work stations, utensils, and cooking equipment throughout shifts.

In this energetic role, you will be responsible for preparing delicious, high-quality meals in a fast-paced mountain resort environment. Your enthusiasm for food preparation, cooking, and food safety will help create memorable dining experiences for our guests. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work amidst breathtaking winter scenery while honing your skills in a dynamic kitchen setting. Whether you’re passionate about meal preparation or eager to develop your food industry expertise, this role is perfect for motivated individuals ready to thrive during the busy ski season.
