Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in Fernie, BC for a Line Cook. The Line Cook is responsible for preparing and cooking food items according to recipes and quality standards. Main tasks include food preparation, working at the busy line to cook menu items to order, maintaining cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, cleaning dishes when required, collaborating with the culinary team, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Additionally, the Line Cook is responsible for reviewing and restocking inventory and assisting with training new staff.

Qualifications

  • Food preparation and cooking skills
  • Knowledge of kitchen safety and cleanliness standards
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
